Jeffrey Head writes about art, architecture, and design. He is the author of Paul Evans: Designer & Sculptor, No Nails, No Lumber: The Bubble Houses of Wallace Neff, Regional Landscape Architecture: Northern California, Rooted in Resilience. He co-authored Architectural Pottery: Ceramics for a Modern Landscape and curated the Stanford University library exhibition Herbert Matter: Modernist Photography and Graphic Design.

Dan Chavkin studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. An avid aficionado of all things modernist, he collects Midcentury Modern furniture, ceramics, and art. He co-authored the book Hand-In-Hand, about midcentury designers Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman; authored Unseen Midcentury Desert Modern; and co-authored his most recent book, Architectural Pottery, on the 1950s California-based company.
