This bright bilingual wooden puzzle is inspired by Cuauhtémoc, the last Aztec emperor, and Cuauhtémoc: A Lil' Libros Bilingual Book of Shapes.
The puzzle has super-chunky pieces, bright colors, and bold designs that capture young children’s interest. It makes learning shapes in English and Spanish fun, and also helps children practice shape recognition.
Individual shapes are in English, while the full-color corresponding slots are in in Spanish. Each wooden puzzle piece is generously sized to make it easier for little hands to lift and grasp. Working with puzzles helps children develop dexterity, matching skills, and concentration.

In a world lacking bilingual books for children, two best friends-turned-mothers – Patty and Ariana – began their mission to celebrate the duality of the American Latino experience through picture board books and now hardcovers. Our board books aim to introduce basic concepts to our little ones, while our hardcovers drive the power of narrative and foster burgeoning minds. Lil’ Libros was created to inspire parents to read to their children and encourage them to dream in two languages.
At Lil’ Libros, we celebrate our voices and stories; through our Vámonos series, we explore the hidden gems of Latin American cities, and our Life of series studies important figures in history, like Celia Cruz and Ritchie Valens, all the while introducing little ones to basic concepts like first words, numbers, colors, shapes, and biographies! Our goal is to make the world a better place by providing authentic stories that promote inclusivity and love and motivate our future generations to pave the way.
