Robert Landau is a photographer and author of several visual books, including the internationally acclaimed Rock ’n’ Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip. His photographs have been shown all over the world. A native Angeleno, his take on L.A. is distinctively passionate and journalistic.
Frans Evenhuis moved from his native Amsterdam to Los Angeles in 1977, where he has been an art director in the music and entertainment world ever since. He and Robert Landau conceived and produced the critically acclaimed book Hollywood Poolside, and they teamed again to create Rock ’n’ Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip and Tales from the Strip. Art Deco Los Angeles is their fourth collaboration.
